MOUNT CLEMENS, Mich. — Eastside Music Scene, the Wertz Warriors, and the Mount Clemens Downtown Development Authority (DDA) are proud to announce the **2026 Wertz Warriors All-Star Summer Jam**, a day-long music festival benefiting Special Olympics Michigan, taking place on **Sunday, August 9, 2026, from Noon to 10:00 PM in Downtown Mount Clemens on Macomb Place**.

The All-Star Summer Jam will feature two stages of continuous live entertainment, including a professional main stage showcasing some of Southeast Michigan's top local bands including 26 time Detroit Music Award winners Sweet Crystal, Aqua Monkey, Mojo Filter, The Sax Maniacs, F-Hole Wreckers, Summer Breeze, Ryan Scott & The Creek Hounds, Sound Project, Creedence and Motorvibe who will close out the main stage. There will also be an acoustic stage highlighting performers including Michelle Wolf, Kynd Acoustic, Autumn Raynes and more. Attendees can also enjoy food trucks, local vendors, basket auctions, 50/50 raffles, family-friendly activities, kid zone and community engagement opportunities throughout the day.

The event is a collaborative effort between the Wertz Warriors, a longtime supporter of Special Olympics Michigan, Eastside Music Scene, a growing regional platform dedicated to promoting local bands, venues, festivals, and live music events throughout Southeast Michigan, and the Mount Clemens Downtown Development Authority, which continues to support events that strengthen community engagement and bring visitors to Downtown Mount Clemens.

Founded by former Detroit Tigers great Vic Wertz, the Wertz Warriors have spent decades raising funds and awareness for Special Olympics Michigan. Through events like the All-Star Summer Jam, the organization continues its mission of helping athletes reach their full potential through sports, inclusion, and community support.

The Mount Clemens DDA's partnership helps ensure the festival becomes not only a successful fundraiser but also a community celebration that highlights the businesses, restaurants, entertainment venues, and unique character of Downtown Mount Clemens.

The Mount Clemens DDA was established in April 1983 by the City of Mount Clemens to revitalize the central business district.  Through various activities, the DDA works to strengthen the economy and vitality of the downtown core.  A lively downtown increases property values throughout the city while improving the quality of life for all residents.  To accomplish this task, the DDA is engaged in a variety of development projects while producing and/or sponsoring over 25 events annually Downtown.
